Our Aims

As resources allow Kent Community Recycling aims to:

Provide recycling and environmental products and services to meet the needs of local communities in Kent - including schools, voluntary groups and charities;

Enable local communities to minimise their environmental impact through optimising resources and preventing pollution.

Reinvest income generated (from recycling and environmental products and services) to expand and develop the operation to encourage continuous improvements and optimise the benefits available;

A fine body of youth

Encourage and advance environmental education and community awareness through direct participation in environmental action, supported by an educational programme of promotional events, materials and services;

Recognise the real costs and benefits of recycling and environmental activity;

Contribute to local economic regeneration through creating safe and satisfying employment for local people through the provision of socially useful services lacking in the area.
